Of Hypermarkets and Costco

Yeah, my first day was basically spent in markets. No joke.
My uncle who is kind of old-ish decided to bring us to those places.
It was fun though! Seeing all the different things they have on sale!

Can’t start the day with a good hearty breakfast eh? :)

 
Some set meal thing – Macaroni and Ham in soup + 2 Eggs (over easy) with bacon and toast = USD 4.50

That’s dirt cheap for a hearty breakfast, if you’re earning the money in US. I try not to convert. :D

My sister had her favourite Nissin noodle in soup with 2 fried eggs.

So we headed over to Hawaii Super Market :D

This is how they sell their Yau Char Kwai.. I miss the ones from SS15 already! It doesn’t even taste nice. =/

We had duck which cost about USD 10.

Rice = $ 2

And Vegetable = $4

After this was shopping at Costco.

You can find everything you need at place like these.
Especially in Costco (except for fresh vegetable), you get everything for cheap price but of course, you can’t convert.

Greetings from LA. Not much of a jetlag, the feeling of loneliness has yet to hit me as I’ve only been here for a day and my mum + sister + grandma are here with me. :D

China Airlines were not bad at all.

Got to watch many relatively new movies like Hanna, Hop and Fast and Furious 5. :)
There’s also..

Yeah, spongebob squarepants. Not sure how many episode cause I only watched 2 of it. XP

We however had the choice between Seafood Very Black Peppery Fried Noodle and Curry Overcooked Chicken Rice. :)

Weirdly Sweet Meatball and Rice or Fried Fish with Barely There Tomato Sauce and Pasta.

The bad thing about China Airline is that the air stewardess were all really grumpy. They spoke with such heavy accent that I could barely understand them when they ask which one I preferred so all I did was nod at the second option they gave me. Lucky for me the second option was always the one I preferred.

After dinner it was a movies and sleep… Barely slept throughout. The feeling of the plane moving constantly for 12 hours was pretty bad for me. It felt like the ride was never ever going to end. : (

Before I knew it, breakfast was served! I feel like I just keep getting fed throughout the flight. =S

If you look pass the Announcement notification, the screen is actually showing a live feed of the camera below the plane.
It’s actually the part of the ground we were flying past at the particular moment.

SO COOL RIGHT?! Jakun abit. ;D
